The Corpus Christi Juneteenth Coalition is making plans for many activities for this year's Juneteenth Celebrations and we are seeking support and sponsorship from friends, like you, to help make this celebration successful in Corpus Christi, Texas.

2014 Focus: African American Defenders: The Corpus Christi Juneteenth Coalition Committee
will celebrate the role and achievements of the African American in the defense of America from 1863 to 2014. Please view our 2014 Calendar of Events  for upcoming details of planned activities.

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, is an annual holiday, celebrated on June 19 in the United States, and commemorating the end of slavery.
